I started shooting weddings for friends in 2018 because I couldn't stand watching them get herded through a shot list on the best day of their lives. Seven years later, that's still the whole job: stay out of the way, watch closely, and press the shutter when something real happens.

I work almost entirely in natural light, which means I plan around the sun more than the schedule. If your ceremony is at 2pm in July, I'm probably going to ask you to move it. It's the kind of stubbornness that shows up in the final gallery.

Based in Portland, I shoot elopements and small weddings across the Gorge and Central Oregon, portraits around town, and the occasional brand shoot for local businesses I actually believe in.
